after spending a few weeks away from my blog I have got more information on what my production is going to be about.
After completing my focus group and research analysis of music and instrument magazines I have seen what people think about the industry as it is now and how it could get better.

proposal form 2
I'm now going to go into more detail about what my proposal form is going to be about.
Area To Research: looking at the representation of popular indie, pop bands and how and why drummers are stereotyped the way that they are.
Research Investigation Methods To Use: I read known music magazines like NME, Q, Rocksound. and seen how they put together a magazine to get ideas. also looking on the internet for more unkown magazines to do with drummers i found only one and it was about whole bands but only had a small section on drummers. so my idea of a whole new magazine just mostly focusing on drummers.
Linked Production: Having a magazine about drummers i will make it known from the front cover to the first article that this is based around drummers how they live, how they react with crowds at gigs and how in there spare time they keep time for themselves and relax but still playing and keeping training going.
How My Research Will Inform My Production: When looking on the internet and on magazine stands and seeing that there isnt if at all a piece of media text puerly for drummers. My research such as visual codes, photos and fonts and how they bring people in will be a big influence on the way my magazine looks and how they write there articles as well. But not having any real research to base my ideas on it gives me breathing room to mould a magazine into what i want it to look like.
Why I Chose This Idea: Being a drummer now for 6 years it is a big part of my life and since music is one of my biggest media texts i consume it makes sense that i create something around them two pieces of text.

Propsal Form.
My proposal form for the coursework is a music magazine in more depth going to be a niche magazine purely for drummers looking at the lifestyle and how the drummer in bands lives change during tours also in my magazine having a past and present theme something that has changed during the years that effects the drummers.

New Music now...PLEASE
If you look at my display picture for this blog you will see that anything like Sonic Youth is not really around anymore. We seem to be stuck in a big musical sandstorm with no view of a way out. But on a lighter note listen to the typical "Indie" bands that are around at the moment ;).
Initial Idea!!!
For my initial idea i have thought about creating a magazine purely for drummers. Showing there feelings and emotions during a show and how they relax before and after all there shows. documenting the day in the life of well known drummers.
